OKX to support Ethereum (ETH) network's Shapella upgrade

Dear OKX users,

OKX will support the Ethereum (ETH) network's Shapella upgrade.

• The Ethereum (ETH) network's Shapella upgrade will take place at epoch 194,048 on April 12, 2023 at 10:27 pm (UTC). Deposits and withdrawals of ETH, OP, ARB and ERC-20 tokens and tokens belonging to Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB) and zkSync Lite networks will be suspended on April 12, 2023 at 9:30 pm (UTC).

Please note:

• Following the Shapella upgrade, OKX will be increasing the minimum confirmation count of deposits into Ethereum (ETH) network from the current 12 blocks to 64 blocks.
• The trading of ETH, OP, ARB and ERC-20 tokens and tokens belonging to Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB) and zkSync Lite networks will not be affected during this network upgrade.
• The Ethereum (ETH) network upgrade will take place at epoch 194,048. The estimated time is for your reference only.
• OKX will handle all technical requirements involved for all users holding ETH, OP, ARB and ERC-20 tokens and tokens belonging to Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB) and zkSync Lite networks in their OKX accounts.
• We will reopen deposits and withdrawals for impacted tokens on Ethereum (ETH), Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB), and zkSync Lite networks once we deem the upgraded Ethereum (ETH) network to be stable. We will not be making a separate announcement.
• For the safety of your funds, please do not make any further withdrawals or deposits of ETH, OP, ARB and ERC-20 tokens and tokens belonging to Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB) and zkSync Lite networks during the upgrade. Please be aware of the risks associated with the spot, margin, and derivatives trading these tokens and make sure you increase your margin to lower your risks.
